This two-hour course offers licensees a comprehensive review of escrow obligations, helping to ensure that brokerage practices are legitimate, client funds are protected, and the public is properly served.  Here are a few take aways:
  1. Proper maintenance and management of escrow funds in real estate transactions are crucial to meeting the expectations of all parties involved and fulfilling the firm's fiduciary responsibility.
  2. Mismanagement of escrow funds is a leading cause of complaints filed with the Virginia Real Estate Board, highlighting the importance of adhering to escrow requirements.

Cancellation requests (written or phoned) will be accepted through 5:00 p.m. two business days preceding each class. All paid tuition other than the $10 non-refundable, non-transferable to another person deposit will be refunded. No refunds will be given for cancellations made after the close of business on that day. (Requests for refund consideration due to extenuating circumstances must be received by CAAR in writing within 15 days after class start date).
